Christmas poem by Jacint Verdaguer

The Star

I show you the way.
Follow me, Noble Kings;
I am for kings and peoples
the star of the morning.

With golden clothes
I screwed in the azure
the purest way
that is in the star.

Lightning rod
I'm leaving behind,
I have a star crown
the flower aroma.

Three Kings I have behind
and an angel in front
and near the Infant
a heaven that awaits me.

Gemadet and blonde
your son, mary,
Who would it look like?
Who, but to You?
